Our Tampa Bay boat tours are true eco excursions, we are all about exploring remote places. The tour boat is a 18 passenger U.S. Coast Guard Inspected vessel, it was custom built to specifically experience nature and wildlife, designed for shallow water uncharted type excursions. We get as close to all the sights as possible, we can literally park our tour boat on the beach. Tour boat is open air, with upfront covered passenger seating with 360 degree unobstructed views, you are literally seated along the edge of the water. The captain will transport you to the best places to view the sights, from wildlife to lighthouses, all while you learn about the maritime history of the area. The open air small boat experience provides an immersion with the landscape, all while allowing us to quietly and closely approach the natural environment in away no other tour boat can. THIS IS NOT a cabin cruiser wine and cheese type tour that slowly cruises around in circles for a few miles. Your captain will cruise at speeds which will require you to hold on to your hat, this tour is for you if you think wind and a sea spray make for a good day. We cover all the local sights, exploring over 20 miles of area waterways, including the back waters channels of Tampa Bay and ICW waterways around Tampa, St Petersburg and Clearwater.
Explore the Tampa Bay waters around St Pete Beach, Fort Desoto, Boca Ciega Bay Aquatic Preserve, Egmont Key Lighthouse and Shell Key Preserve. Your captain/guide will cruise you through remote shallow water mangrove islands in a custom built Coast Guard inspected boat specifically designed to experience the sights as closely as possible. During the holidays and the high season (February, March, April, May) it is important to reserve boat tours as far in advance as possible. Our boat tours and sunset cruise depart daily from our Skyway Marina District boat slip located at the Gulfport Municipal Marina in St Petersburg, Florida, a short drive from Tampa, St Pete Beach and Clearwater Beach. Our marina is close to the boutique shops and amazing restaurants found in the charming Art District of Gulfport, FL a true old Florida vibe in the heart of St Petersburg and the best marina to depart from to explore the best of what Tampa Bay has to offer. End your day enjoying the sights and sounds as the world settles in. Birds flying to roost, fishing boats returning from offshore; these evening cruises go a little longer, but are much like our scenic boat tour. Tours are always scheduled at the optimal time to cruise down the Intracoastal waterway returning to the marina with the sun setting in the background.

All boat tours are dependent on the weather and things like wind, tide, current are always factors. Boat tours are fun, but Safety First is always practiced and if there is any reason for caution we will cancel tours. We will notify everyone as soon as possible once we decide to cancel a tour. Our goal to make a determination 2 hours before a scheduled tour time, but sometimes weather can abruptly change at tour time then the captain will then make a go or not go decision.
